Q How much will the work cost?

A Every job is different.  We give free written estimates and usually an immediate price on site, which is backed up by the written estimate a couple of days later.

Q How soon can we do the work?

A Lead time for availability varies with the time of year. We can usually fit urgent jobs in, otherwise jobs are scheduled to mutually acceptable time scale.  Please call us or contact us using our online form to ask us for a no obligation quotation.

Q What are our payment terms?


A We have a three stage payment:

10% deposit
50% remainder on start date
The remainder is due on the job finishing date.

Q What payment methods do we accept?


A  We take cheque payment, as we do not offer a credit card facility.

Q What are our guarantees?


A Work is guaranteed, with a years guarantee against workmanship, plus any manufacturers warranty as applicable.

Q Are we fully insured?


A We have Public liability insurance to £2M – and are fully insured as necessary.

Q Do we supply everything or can you buy your own appliances?


A We only supply good quality products from reputable manufacturers.  We prefer to supply ourselves, as this assures you of the quality of the job.  We can generally supply any make of item that you require.

Q Do we supply recommendations?


A We have a  list of people for you to ring, at current sites we are working on.  Please see our recommendations page for more details.

Q Will there be much disruption on jobs? 

A
We strive to keep disruption to a minimum, keeping your house as clean as we can, using dust sheets and cleaning up after ourselves. Click here for more details on our procedures.

Q What about after sales service?

A We believe you need to be comfortable with people you use  in your own home.  We are careful, friendly and polite and neither are we pushy.  We live locally and take pride in our work to make people happy and keep our excellent reputation.

Q Do we offer price matching?


A We offer a reasonable price for our jobs so that we can offer you support before and after we have carried out work for you, as we believe service is paramount, not just price.  When you are looking at prices, also look at the quality and support of the company quoting.
